BBT Notes that I recommend
As I talked to my patients when they meet me first time, the BBT chart and note can help us remember and better understand daily body conditions. Also they can save both of us time when we meet and discuss your condition next time. Now-a-day, few people bring in the paper chart to our meeting and instead we use more on-line sites to review patients cycles.
The followings are sites which my patients use to record updates of BBT and notes.
1) fertilityfriend.com free BASIC membership:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/
The primary tab content is mostly what I need, however, the other tabs such as “Special”, “Meds” “Custom” are helpful for you to record daily conditions.
To share chart with me:
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/TechFaqs/Sharing-Your-Chart.html
Don’t forget to give name of the chart you want to share. As I receive fertilityfriend’s email of patient’s chart link with no name for the chart, simply reading the chart, I don’t know who the patient is.
Then you are able to setup sharing from desktop or from your smart phone apps. If still you don’t know how, click the share button under the my chart, copy the whole link under “simple link” and paste into your email and send to us. Then I just need to clike the link to access the chart you want to share to me. Example like
http://FertilityFriend.com/home/xxxbbb/
Or desktop: click on chart, under the chart, there is one button labeled “Share”, click that and enter our email address. FF will send us link to your chart.
Or IPhone smart phone apps: go to the page have list of selections, there is one called “email shared chart link”. Click on that and you can enter our email address and message must include your name. So when F.Friend sends us the link, it has your name in the message. Otherwise, we cannot know whose chart it is unless you give your name in the chart title.
Basal Body Temperature Curve:
The temperature plot represents each data point by a small dot. Each dot is
linked to the previous one by a line.
Following are some abbreviations commonly used.
Cervical Fluid (CM Line):
The cervical fluid (also called cervical mucus and abbreviated CM) data line uses the following codes:
Medications Special, Custom Data
The chart also includes 3 categories of data which are displayed on multiple lines. The medications group of data is displayed on multiple lines with a predefined code. The Special and Custom data use a system of numbers with the key directly available at the bottom of the chart.
